AI interviews are interesting not because they are cheaper surveys, but because they attack the real failure mode: most research strips away the very context that makes an answer useful. The β€œsurvey industry” may have been selling false precision for years: a giant dashboard with 47 cuts by segment feels scientific, but if the input is bored people speed-clicking radio buttons, the output is useless
